With a practice stretching from textile paintings to fashion and theatre, Tschabalala Self has captured global attention in the art world and beyond. We’re very excited to collaborate with Tschabalala to create her first ever public sculpture – which also marks the beginning of Avant Arte’s public art programme.
Shortly after the sculpture is unveiled in London’s Coal Drops Yard, we’re going live with the artist and Avant Arte chief curator Gemma Rolls-Bentley. The pair will discuss what promises to be a landmark moment for Tschabalala’s practice.
