First art piece in my life

I just purchased the Parallax. I've never spent money on art before. I hope that this will bring joy into my life. I wonder how much a custom frame will cost. Anyone have any ideas about how they will frame their piece?

Yo @acc_25RxXcE4PQ00kiswMAHQH32pZJv - so happy to hear your sentiment and experience with this piece!! Is resonates deeply with the team! to be honest, I agree that likely the best framing solution for this work would be either a nafural wood (maybe oak or walnut) or a painted back moulding (with grain visible), with a width of 1.5cm and a depth of 3-4cm). id likely want to have it float mounted, probably oushed up off the mount biard by .5mm, with a float gap between the work and frame of around 1.5-2cm. as a minimum UV plexi, but ideally museum optium....
We'd also like to take care of this for you, at our expense, so drop me a line and we'll get that done! Enjoy and thanks again!! ❤️❤️❤️

@acc_25TSgN4RrXtIOolmbPOMxJS9evB @acc_25RxXcE4PQ00kiswMAHQH32pZJv museum plexi is the one, optium is the main player in the game. It is V pricey, but is the best. UV protective (protection from the sun rays), anti reflective (so you can see the work ckearly). darker works often normal plexi or UV plexi is fine Though IMO! Depends on budget! Hope that helps! B ❤️❤️

@naor

I would go with an antique looking frame / maybe even used one that can be restored. In the UK a museum grade framing would probably cost around 400gbp
