Framing suggestions for Too Darn Hot 🖼
If you’ve just got our latest release with Tom Sachs you might be wondering how to frame the work. Below we have two potential option so you know what to suggest to your framer!
Option 1:
Float-mount the print on a white or slightly off-white backing board. The paper is a beautiful eggshell colour so actually having the backing board white to pick out some of the more bright whites in the prints would work really well. Frame in a slim natural oak wood frame. Keeping the frame a neutral colour will allow the bright vibrant colours in the print to really sing.
Option 2:
Would be the same as above but with a black frame to pick up on the black line work of the print. This will create a slightly more graphic look for those that find the natural wood to soft looking.
For both, we would always suggest UV protective plexi-glass to protect the print and can upgrade to non-reflective plexi for an even better viewing experience.
If you're looking for some framer recommendations you can leave your location below and we’ll try to recommend one local to you! 🌍
I'll send you a dm but usually the amount of package should not effect the duty you pay. Only the value off the package. 🙂

One of our collectors mentioned Frame Chicago but apparently they're a bit pricey. They also recommended Supreme Frame in West Loop.
